I'm Shannon, and I spend a lot of time thinking about design in the shower.

With 12+ years of experience, I specialize in email design and lifecycle marketing — designing campaigns and automations that don't just look good, they convert. I've worked across the full email channel: welcome series, retention flows, broadcast campaigns, and everything in between. Basically, if you need an email that looks good and drives revenue, I'm your girl.

I've partnered with 100+ clients, from Fortune 500s with 87-page brand books to startups with, well... vibes. I know how to color inside the brand lines — or draw the lines when needed.

I believe the best creative work happens in collaboration. I take feedback seriously, come to the table with a strong point of view, and know when to stand behind it — and when the data is telling me something different. Good design that doesn't perform isn't good design, so I think about conversion at every step, from layout hierarchy to CTA placement to the psychology behind a subject line.

Fun Stuff

I’ve called Colorado home since day one, and I take full advantage of the scenery. You’ll usually find me outside—camping, hiking, or catching a Red Rocks show (bonus points if there’s a sunset involved). I have a soft spot for mid-century modern furniture, a talent for spotting a good deal, and exactly zero willpower around chocolate. Also: will absolutely dance if there’s music playing.

When I’m not designing or out in the wild, I’m likely in full-on aunt mode—planning over-the-top trunk-or-treats, orchestrating very serious scavenger hunts, and insisting every child experience the wonder of Casa Bonita and Meow Wolf at least once. It’s basically another form of creative direction, just with more legos and candy.
